Horrific Crash Kills 47 In Zimbabwe
In Zimbabwe, at least 47 people were killed on Wednesday November 7 after two buses collided near the Rusape tollgate, on a road between the capital Harare police said last night.
Paul Nyathi ,Police spokesperson, Assistant Commisioner said that the accident involved Smart Express and Bolt Cutter buses and occurred at the 156km peg.
We confirm 47 people have died in a road traffic accident at the 166-kilometre peg along the Harare-Mutare highway.
Of the 47, two were children.
“Police are still attending to the scene,” Nyathi said.
The state-run Herald newspaper said pictures from the scene were too graphic to post.
