Relief As Dynamos A Point Away From The Relegation Zone
Dynamos are almost out of the relegation zone after beating Herentials 2-0 in a match played yesterday after an impressive performance by Kadonzvo.
The Harare giants who have been fighting relegation, gave an impressive performance yesterday, to move them up the log to the 11th position with 40 points. Dynamous are just one point shy of securing their place in the top flight league next season.
With three matches left, the Dynamos coach mentioned that he was confident to win his next matches and that the match scheduled on Sunday in the Chibuku Super Cup is the biggest challenge the team have.
Obviously it’s satisfying that we have managed to collect three points on the trot. But the biggest challenge is we have a humdinger of a match on Sunday. I hope we will manage to recover well in time to be fresh for that game.
Dynamos coach Lloyd Chigowe has heaped praises on Valentine Kadanzvo after the forward put a stunning performance on opening the scoring just two minutes into the match with a spectacular goal worth a season award
I think the boy (Kadanzvo) is coming good at the moment of the season.
Ruzive Ruzive the referee made a few dubious decisions in favour of Herentials in what looked like clear penalties, but as Dynamos continued to impose themselves on the match and where not derailed the from clenching a victory against Herentials.
Kudzanai Dhemere doubled the lead after 53 minutes, with a header from a pass by Moyo. Chigowe’s played impressively, outplaying their opponents and controlling much of the possession during the match but where sloppy in the last minutes commented Chigowa
Overall, the team looked beautiful, and they dominated possession, but in the dying moments of the match, we lost discipline. I was not happy because the game can turn on its head and we will have to work on that.
Dynamos have been highly inconsistent this year in terms of performance and have had a sloppy season. The Glamour Boys seem to have gotten back their magic under the leadership of Lloyd ”Mablanyo” Chigowe, who has had a positive run of three wins over CAPS United, BLACK Rhinos and now Herantials, after he took over the reins from Lloyd Mutasa.
Mablanyo who was afforded the chance to show his skill, following his promotion from the club’s juniors and has surely proven his critics wrong or any doubt that was cast on his leadership.
Dynamos have had a terrible season and have changed coaches several times , from Mutasa, Big Zuze and then Chigowe as the team had been lurching from one bad result to another. The Harare giants are currently a point away from the relegation zone.
