Takesure Zamar Ncube Nominee for Best of Africa Gospel
Takesure Zamar Ncube the gospel sensation has been nominated for the Best of Africa Gospel for his song Ngidinga Wena at the 11th annual Crown Gospel Awards, to be held in Durban in South Africa on the 25th of November.
In this category Zamar will be competing with Tshepo Lesole from Botswana , Godwin Omighale and Ayo Solanke both from Nigeria.
The musician popularly known as minister Takesure in the Apostolic Faith Mission (AFM) church has become a regular performer in South Africa and has shared the musical experience with a number of artistes, including Solly Mahlangu among others.
The minister mentioned how happy he was and humbled by the recognition, as his achievements in his career are a clear testimony and indication that his music is now well known on the international scene.
“I am very about the recognition. It’s my first time to be nominated for these awards, and the nomination itself by such a reputable organization makes one feel joyous and grateful to God and to all gospel music listeners,” he said.
In 2015, Ncube collaborated with top South African Choir Joyous Celebration and recorded two song and at that time he was fronting the Worship addicts. This helped him to be recognized in the region as Joyous Celebration is well known in the music industry.
Zamar Ncube is optimistic that he will bring the award home. The musician is looking forward to more shows as he was recently in Malawi, England and Botswana. His hit songs Sorry, Kuzobalungela, Ibhaibhili Ke, Unotapirirwa, Taura Neni and Mtwene
